Design Approach
Our design approach is flexible but rooted in a set of core values – it recognizes that there is no one solution to a problem and that success is achieved by working closely with our clients to meet their needs.
We start with an intensive briefing process during which aims and ambitions are discussed and a concept formulated. Our experience permits us to carefully balance considerations of aesthetics, cost and programme.
We take into account all the factors that are specific to the site – orientation, topography, context and importantly, planning policy. From the outset we engage with both planners and local communities. The planning process is often seen as lengthy and confrontational – it does not need to be and we pride ourselves on our many successes in this area.
