This imaginative and intricate design centres on the typology of a derelict yet significant 1960s office tower to create a sophisticated hotel and function facilities neighbouring Heathrow Airport.
The façade will be completely re-clad and incorporates the existing formal grid elevations. This process will be overlaid with an irregular pattern made up of aluminium panels to articulates the façade.
The lighting design of the exterior will subtly be lit in the evenings to bring life and vitality to this prominent landmark.
The design provides 170 hotel rooms with the reception, lounge bar facilities, all-day dining room and meeting facilities that are located at ground and first floor. The expansive landscape design will provide attractive settings for the ten storey tower.
A total of 70 parking spaces, 60 cycle parking spaces and 7 motorcycle spaces and comprehensive drop off and servicing facilities will be provided.
