Marylebone Boys’ School is the tallest secondary school in the UK and comprises one part of the Dudley House development within the Paddington Basin for Westminster City Council – joining 197 new affordable homes for intermediate rent, a modern community space for the Central Pentecostal Church and retail accommodation.
Occupying the southern end of the site, the school caters towards 840 pupils, includes a sixth form academy and is spread out over six storeys with dual aspect classrooms and a netted play area at roof level.
A bright central atria hallmarks the design, which further includes a flexible hall space with retractable seating at basement level and outstanding facilities throughout.
