He/Him

Arun joined CGL in 2014 having extensive experience in the residential sector gained over the last eight years as a project architect – particularly in the delivery stages – on many medium to large scale mixed tenure, and mixed use projects.

Arun has a Diploma in Architecture and in Urban Design from Oxford Brookes, as well as a BArch from the Glasgow School of Arts. While at CGL, Arun has been a fundamental part of both the 156 West End Lane and Millbrook Park residential schemes. West End Lane is a 164 unit mixed use scheme, incorporating private sale housing and 50% affordable accommodation. Arun has helped to develop the design of this project to planning stage, responding to a challenging site alongside a busy high street and railway lines in a prominent location in West Hampstead, sitting at the edge of a conservation area.

At Millbrook Park, he has been working on the delivery stages to a very tight programme due on site in early 2017. This project is comprised of 188 residential units for Prime Place and has required a significant amount of collaboration and close communication with all key parties to ensure targets are met.

Arun’s core capabilities lie in his technical background, working on the detailed design of medium to large scale residential projects combined with a keen focus on ensuring design quality at all scales and stages. He is also the BIM coordinator at CGL, in charge of protocols and standards and has developed in-depth understanding of the sustainable standards relating to residential projects.

Arun has also worked with CRASH – the leading construction charity – spending some time helping with the design and development of properties for homeless charity Kairos.
