Mihaela appointed as an Expert Panel Member
A huge congratulations to our colleague Mihaela, who was appointed as an Expert Panel Member in the High Streets category for New London Architecture at the beginning of 2025 and is now serving her second year on the panel.
Alongside her role on the NLA High Streets Expert Panel, Mihaela was invited to support the 2026 NLA Awards as an assessor for the Masterplans & Neighbourhoods category, helping to shortlist this year's entries ahead of the announcement in August. Since March 2026, she has also been part of the Future of London's Diversity Speaker Bank, supporting conversations around inclusion and representation across the built environment.
Within our studio, Mihaela has helped shape award winning high street and retail projects across the UK, and leads CGL's internal Health & Wellbeing team, having authored and introduced our practice-wide Menopause at Work policy.
Outside architecture, she is an Executive Practitioner of Holistic Medicine specialising in women's health, co-founder of the Women Academy, a published author and an abstract artist.
We are incredibly proud of Mihaela's continued contribution to the profession and to the wider industry, and we look forward to seeing the impact of her ongoing work with NLA, Future of London and beyond.
