CGL named sponsor of annual MAPIC cycle

CGL is delighted to announce that we are once again a proud sponsor of this year’s annual MAPIC cycle.

Taking place from 10th-13th November, cyclists from across the retail property industry will ride from Girona, Spain, to the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, just in time for the MAPIC conference and all in aid of The Coram Foundation children’s charity. If you would like to know more about this amazing charity and possibly donate, please find the link to Simon Child’s fundraising page here.

Coram is an amazing organisation, finding adoptive families to give abandoned or children at risk a loving and caring environment to grow and flourish. Their work goes beyond this to support these children and their adoptive families while they grow to become adults. The charity was first founded in 1739 to provide care for abandoned children left dying on London's streets and last year was instrumental in 11% of adoptions across England.

Simon – a founding director at CGL – will be one of 45 riders tackling 400 miles and climbing 18,000 ft in just four days. Unlike the Cycle to MIPIM, riders are required to ride the whole distance together, making this multi-day ride a real challenge.

A full day-to-day itinerary can be found here:

This cycle challenge will be no easy feat and the entire CGL team wishes Simon the best of luck on his ride!
